Our Story
Active Snacks serves to provide healthy, on the go snacks that are safe for both human and animal consumption. Started by five animal and food enthusiasts, we aim to provide the top human-grade animal food possible. We currently have developed snacks for dogs, cats, horses, and other livestock, with the intention of expanding as far as we can. We have a wide variety of foods available, from freeze dried teething and chew treats, to bars perfect for hiking and snacks throughout the day.

Located in Vermont, our facility produces the snacks we sell on our website so anyone can have them shipped directly to their door. We serve all animal lovers across the nation. Active Snacks is ideal for people who lead active, busy lives who love to give their animals the best. Here at Active Snacks, we aim to provide customers and their beloved animals with the best possible food to keep them feeling their best, no matter what situation they are found in.
Our Location
There are a plethora of locations that we are thinking of setting up in. But are main headquarters will be in Burlington, Vermont. We chose Burlington because Vermont has the highest percentage of pet ownership in the United States coming in at 70.4 percent, while the total percentage of pet ownership in the United states is 68 percent. We believe that establishing a business in the highest pet populated state will lead to an influx of pet owners who intend to view, buy and recommend our product. We have high hopes in this method, as Burlington is the most populated city in Vermont.

Our Purpose
While the numbers are small in compression, we as a company do have high hopes that are product will be a breakthrough success. We in the meantime want to start off small and build are way to being one of the top pet snacks manufacturers in the nation, with multiple facilities across the country. The purpose of this project is to create a snack that is consumable by both people and their pets. Active Snacks is a company that creates a variety of delicious snacks, ranging from dried mangos to nutritious bars. Active Snacks are made with natural and organic ingredients. This company is committed to deliver the best quality snacks that can be loved by both owners and their pets.
Hopes for the Future
We hope to provide snacks that will nutritionally benefit both humans and animals. By using human-grade ingredients we guarantee that our products have the best nutritional content possible. As we expand our company we hope to include more types of animals so we can reach a more broad perspective of animal owners. We hope to get some of our snacks supplied in emergency kits so that pets can be included in the emergency planning process.

Active Snacks is looking to expand worldwide. We want to be able to deliver our snacks to different retailers nationwide within a 2-year period. We also want to be able to work with organizations to promote our products by participating in expos such as America’s Family Pet Expo. After successfully distributing our products to retailers and making appearances at expos, we want to expand worldwide to make sure everyone has the chance to try and love our delicious snacks within a 3-year period. With the success of Active Snacks, we plan on opening our first few stores across the country within a 5-year period.
